Nicole Catania is a luxury custom handbag company founded by Nicole Indelicato for the woman who values freedom, adventure and self-expression. In a world of rules, social expectations and pressure to fit into a box, our company embraces the contemporary woman who dares to do it her way. Nicole Catania will be launching in 2012 with its first collection of custom handbags, small leather goods and accessories.
Nicole Catania is looking for a creative, energetic and passionate intern to work side by side with the founder for 2-3 days a week (starting January 15th) for 6 months. This internship is unpaid, but school credit is available. This position offers the opportunity to grow and access to multiple roles within the company.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic, creative, ambitious, great communication skills, able to take initiative, work independently, attention to detail, organizational skills and a passion for entrepreneurship and the start-up world.
Candidate will be able to:
- Assist in creative campaigns for all social media outlets
- Create and pitch blog/social media concepts
- Initiate and conduct interviews
- Research social media initiatives
- Participate in discussions with community
- Assist in marketing initiatives and special projects
Requirements:
- Strong writing skills and blogging experience
- Interest in understanding and/or experience in fashion (accessories) industry and social media outlets
- Comfortable with facebook, twitter, tumblr and blogs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Work independently/remotely
- Own a computer/access to skype
